GRACE KELLY: LOST TAPES OF A PRINCESS

9PM, CH4 ★★★★

The makers of this film gained, for the first time, access to the private archives of the Grimaldi family, the royal house of Monaco. Hollywood star Grace Kelly (right) married into the family in 1956 and, while we all know about her tragic early death, this documentary tells the untold story of her personal life inside the palace. As well as an interview with Grace’s son, Albert II, we see home movies shot by Grace and her husband,

Prince Rainier, themselves for a touching and revealing portrait of a Princess at home.

TROOPING THE COLOUR HIGHLIGHTS 8PM, BBC2 ★★★★

Taking place at Windsor Castle without spectators – and with Elizabeth II’S cousin, the Duke of Kent, at her side in place of her late husband, Prince Philip – this morning’s military parade marked the Queen’s official birthday. Congratulations, Ma’am. Huw Edwards introduces the highlights.

PHIL COLLINS AT THE BBC 9PM, BBC2 ★★★★

In the air tonight, an hourlong special of the music of the Genesis drummer turned solo singer. Featuring Phil’s appearances on a variety of BBC shows, including Top Of The Pops and The Two Ronnies, this is a must for anyone wanting to sing along to Phil’s songs, from You Can’t Hurry Love to Two Hearts.

CASUALTY 9.25PM, BBC1 ★★★★

When events on this show take place on a building site, it makes for nail-biting viewing – and tonight is no exception. Meanwhile, back at the ED, Rash is looking into Ollie’s mysterious symptoms for his worried, increasingly paranoid dad, David, and Fenisha has reason to be concerned about Ethan.
