THE GRINDER 9PM, FOX ★★★★

Bid a fond farewell to this barmy Rob Lowe comedy, which concludes with a double bill. You can see that the cast were really hoping for a second season by the way it ends, but 22 episodes were probably enough for a show like this, especially as it ends on a high. Look out for a larger role for Lowe’s real-life son, John Owen (left), too.
