BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE

Set in 1969, this neo-noir crime thriller draws six strangers to the El Royale, a hotel on the Nevada-california border, where a bag of money is hidden. The cast – Jeff Bridges, Cynthia Erivo, Jon Hamm – and staging are interesting, but it’s a bit too murky in execution.
