Doctor will see you later

EVEN before the pandemic, it took three weeks to see my doctor face to face. When i finally got an appointment, my doctor asked how he could help me.

i replied it’s taken so long since i booked that i’ve either forgotten what i rang up for, recovered, have a new ailment or have died.

Luckily, my doctor has a sense of humour and asked: ‘Which one is it today?’

i replied: ‘A mixture of the first three, but as i hope you can work out i am alive, the fourth option is not applicable this time.’
