Teenage surrogate mother Kaya (Mirren Mack) is near the end of the pregnancy, yet with the baby on the way, all is not well for thebiologicalparents.thuggishmillionaire businessman Dan (Martin Compston, above right) believes he has discovered the dreadful secret from Kaya’s past – it seems that she was a child killer. But can he bring himself to tell wife Emily (Sophie Rundle, above centre) the truth about the young woman they’ve chosen to carry their child – and in the process break her heart? Meanwhile, just to add a new layer of complication, Kaya has struck up a romance with Dan’s nephew Jack that threatens to raise the stakes for the entire family. And still there’s the lingering question of just what it is that Dan is hiding in his own past. Prepare for the tension to be ratcheted up to almost unbearable levels.
