Mixed messages

It’s all very well for us to be told to stop buying Chinese goods, but how do we know they are being made there? I unknowingly bought some acrylic yarn, only to find it was made in China. Most of my purchases are made online and returning one ball of yarn to China would have cost more than the initial purchase. And what about all the mobile phones and tablets, which are generally made in China? No young people will hunt for anything British-made.
