ANIMATED ADVENTURE

Leo, Netflix LEO the lizard (pictured) isn’t exactly loving life. He and pal Squirtle the turtle have been classroom pets for decades and Leo longs to discover the outside world. But things change when the pupils discover Leo can speak and he begins to help them come to terms with the stresses of life. Voiced by Adam Sandler, Leo turns from world-weary grump into Yoda-esque mentor as the children turn to him for life lessons. Filled with music, slapstick and sentiment, this is an engaging family adventure with enough sly jokes to keep grown-ups entertained.
