Glitterball days

i WAS born in a village with a railway station on the line to Blackpool, where every Saturday we teenagers went dancing at the Tower Ballroom. Watching Strictly re-awakens those 1950s memories. Where the judges sit was where the girls once congregated, and i remember asking one young lady to dance.
