Stamp out postage rises

HOPEFULLY the regulator will rebuff Royal Mail’s attempts to stop delivering mail on a Saturday. if, on the other hand, ofcom do decide to allow RM to drop Saturday deliveries, how can they justify the recent increase in first class (ha ha) stamps? Will they be forced to reduce them by 16.66 per cent, as that is what losing a day from six represents as a percentage?

To be honest, postage is rather inexpensive in the UK but the recent hikes haven’t improved the service in any meaningful way, have they?

All this just to allow bosses at the top of the pyramid to get bigger bonuses for really doing nothing constructive, apart from feathering their own nest.
