ROUND-UP

DARCY GRAHAM scored a hat-trick of tries as Scotland thrashed Argentina 52-29 at Murrayfield.

Fly-half Finn Russell was at the heart of each of Scotland’s eight tries and kicked six conversions as the home team ran riot. As well as Graham’s contribution, Sione Tuipulotu scored a brace of tries and Duhan van der Merwe, Cameron Redpath and Stuart Hogg also touched down.

Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend said: ‘We’re glad to have Finn in this form — he’s playing some of his best rugby.’

Argentina scored four tries with Edinburgh’s Emiliano Boffelli amassing 14 points himself.

South Africa, meanwhile, bounced back from defeats by Ireland and France with a 63-21 humbling of Italy in Genoa.

Italy had led for the bulk of the first half thanks to a try from Ange Capuozzo and the boot of Tommaso Allan, but the world champions, who sign off their tour against England at Twickenham on Saturday, eventually ran in nine tries with Kurt-Lee Arendse claiming two.
