ITVX DRAMA Irvine Welsh’s obsessive, troubled detective Ray Lennox (Dougray Scott, above) returns to the fray at Edinburgh Serious Crimes. He’s off the booze and keen to prove he is fully recovered from his breakdown induced by bringing the serial killer Mr Confectioner to justice in the intense, gritty first season. He soon finds himself embroiled in a disturbing case that takes him from crack dens to Edinburgh’s grandest hotels and involves an Establishment cover-up.
