This superb film about Hollywood star Debbie Reynolds (left) was intended as a record of her last days as a performer. Instead, it became a poignant record of Reynolds’s relationship with her daughter, Carrie Fisher, when both mother and daughter died not long before its first broadcast in early 2017.
