Christopher Lloyd, on my right, and I play joyriding geriatrics in my latest film Senior Moment, a comedy about a retired NASA test pilot who loses his driving licence after speeding. The message is: the older guys have it! I was delighted at the chance to drive someone else’s fast car, although an electric Porsche doesn’t go like a racing car. I’ve been stopped by the police for speeding in real life: three officers three times in one night when I was driving 100mph to get from one theatre to another 400 miles away on a tour. Each of them said, ‘No sh*t! Shatner!’ when they recognised me.
