Chas Dingle was horrified to discover her son Aaron (both pictured) had been self-harming after she found blood on his shirt. Chas encouraged Aaron to discuss his problems, and he agreed to attend counselling before taking a break from the village.

15 YEARS AGO – CORRIE

Charlie Stubbs found out his ex Shelley Unwin was pregnant. When the abusive builder reacted badly to the news and threatened her (pictured), Shelley calmly told him that she wasn’t staying and he’d never see her or the baby ever again.

20 YEARS AGO – EASTENDERS

After Zoe Slater discovered that Kat was her mother, not her sister, and her father was actually her ‘Uncle’ Harry, who’d taken advantage of Kat when she was just 13, Zoe (played by Michelle Ryan, pictured) fled Walford, while Kat attempted suicide.
