MY TINY DANCER

I hate clutter and ornaments but this one was left to me about ten years ago by my grandmother, Peg, my mum’s mum, who I was very close to. I’m a very girly girl and it’s a very pretty ballerina ornament. If it broke I’d be devastated as it reminds me of the strong bond we shared. Peg was a very loving, gentle, wise, nurturing woman, and when my mum was away accompanying my dad Bernard at golf tournaments she’d often come to look after my sister Laura, brother Jamie and me – she almost felt like a second mother.
