PLATINUM JUBILEE PAGEANT

Dancers, musicians, military personnel and key workers unite to tell the story of the Queen’s reign. The Pageant combines street arts, theatre, music and circus as well as cutting-edge visual technology, drawing on talent from across the UK and Commonwealth. Schoolchildren have been invited to create artworks reflecting their hopes and aspirations for the planet over the next 70 years – and these will be transferred onto 200 silk flags creating a ‘River of Hope’ that will process down The Mall like a moving river.
