Bittersweet brilliance

Having just binge-watched the final series of the black comedy-drama After Life on Netflix, I sat with tears in my eyes, my emotions a combination of joy and sadness. Ricky Gervais [pictured] – who created, wrote, directed, produced and starred in the show – deserves every accolade going for this unique, funny and sensitive series. A fantastic achievement!
