CORONATION STREET

SUFFOCATION ALERT

We can safely say that Daniel will never be in the position of having to sing ‘Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer, do.’ Where he’s concerned, there’s no holding back Jenny’s wayward stepdaughter who, after another heated row with her ex, goes for it big time with yet another tonsil excavation. Please let Daniel (pictured, with Daisy) come up for air, woman, or at least get a Covid test before knocking the poor man’s head off!

There’s a pattern emerging here: every heated exchange between the pair ends in a kiss, which isn’t a healthy foundation for a relationship. In all fairness, Daisy pops into the shop to check on him after an altercation with Max that saw the latter falling downstairs after wrecking Daniel’s flat. Daniel’s story is that it was an accident after he shoved Max out of his apartment, no doubt David will view it as attempted murder.

Tyrone suggests to Fiz that maybe Hope has bigger behavioural problems than they first thought and perhaps it’s time for a proper diagnosis. Arsonist, child kidnapper, blackmailer… Fiz is happy that the current therapist thinks Hope’s antics are merely those of a ‘naughty girl’, but Evelyn’s not convinced. You and me both. It’s not a proper diagnosis she needs – it’s locking up.

Audrey’s bag of rattling bottles is causing concern in the Platt family and now Rita’s joining in the criticism. Three words to the lot of you: pot, kettle, black.
