(Wednesday) The grizzly bear that the wolfman (Benicio del Toro, right) battles in this Universal horror was recycled animation originally created for 2007’s The Golden Compass – a polar bear changed to a grizzly. According to director Joe Johnston, it was – unsurprisingly – a lot easier than using a real bear, or designing one from scratch.
