FRINGE 10PM, PICK ★★★★

A real sense of family – particularly between the damaged Walter (John Noble, left) and his son, Peter – has always marked Fringe out from other sci-fi series. That’s to the fore in the last-ever episode of the thriller show, in which painful sacrifices are made in humanity’s last-ditch effort to banish the Observers from the planet.
