Disney must have a lot of faith in this six-parter as they have, rather cheekily, chosen to launch it on the same day as the return of Netflix’s Stranger Things. The bigbudget series started life as a film and has a big-screen feel, with Ewan Mcgregor playing Kenobi (left) in a story set a decade after Revenge Of The Sith – as the grieving, isolated Jedi watches over young Luke on Tatooine. Hayden Christensen also returns as Darth Vader, but he was never the world’s most dynamic actor, and the show’s secret weapon could be Homeland’s Rupert Friend as one of Vader’s Jedi hunters. One thing’s for certain, this will be a feast for the senses. Weekly from Friday
