As it returns for a second series, it’s Brendan Gleeson and Patricia Clarkson as Scott and Ellen, the long-married couple who meet in an LA coffee shop before their counselling session. She wants out of the marriage, he wants to save it; seeing them discussing the pros and cons of staying together will resonate with many couples.
