STAR Letter IMMERSIVE VIEWING

Sue Cawte, Essex

I’m a big fan of Jill Halfpenny and Rupert Penry-jones, so when I saw they were both in The Drowning on Netflix I had to watch it – and I wasn’t disappointed. The four-part series was gripping from the start. Jill’s character Jodie (right) lost her son in a suspected drowning, but then nine years later she spotted a youngster who looked just like him... What followed was unpredictable – unlike many shows. I’m glad I discovered this gem, and I recommend it highly.
