There’s something irresistible about the premise of a Sliding Doors-style plot, perhaps because no one’s life is totally free of those ‘what if’ thoughts. A pregnancy is at the centre of this lively and heart-warming American example, which stars Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart as the woman who stayed in her hometown to raise a child in one timeline, and left for Los Angeles to pursue her career in the other. Reinhart is a likeable star who has good comic flair, and it’s fun to follow her along on both of these journeys. Look out for Luke Wilson as her hangdog dad. From Wednesday
