Gina Mckee (below) stars in a five-part series of thrillers set in the north-east. She plays Jess, an audio forensic analyst who is, as is so often the way with fictional forensic specialists, a bit of a lone wolf with a troubled past. In this opening drama, Jess is called in to investigate the apparently accidental death of a young woman and listen to mysterious messages on a voice-activated speaker that might have some bearing on the death.
