Brother-and-sister property developers Stuart and Scarlette Douglas are on Merseyside to help single mum Paula, who is extremely proud of herself after buying her first-ever home. Sadly, though, it’s a derelict and dated disaster, with running water flooding the ground floor – and poor Paula has just £20,000 to do up the entire house. Luckily she also has some expert advice from Stuart and Scarlette, who help her to find an entire kitchen online for just £1,000 and secure a deal to turn the house’s ugly pebble-dash front into a stylish exterior to stand out on the street. But as the building costs begin to mount, will Paula’s funds be enough to complete her dream move?
