This week, George meets Art Deco fan Ododu, who is obsessed with the elegant 20th-century aesthetic. Having moved to a Victorian terrace in Brighton, Ododu needs some design inspiration, so George visits Art Deco Eltham Palace in south London. He also heads to Stockport to help to transform Sarah’s childhood home, inherited after her mum’s death, into a house fit for modern living with her growing family – while still keeping the spirit of her late mother alive.

The North East Ambulance Service is inundated with high-risk calls, but hospital beds are full. Despite the pressure, the paramedics keep their spirits up, joking with each other while giving their patients support. One of the crews helps Ray, who has fallen on the street; he chats to them about the pain of losing his wife of 60 years.
