30 ROCK SCREWBALL US COMEDY

In great news for the budget conscious among us, Amazon are adding a lot of new shows to their free, ad-supported service Freevee and this whipsmart comedy, set behind the scenes at a chaotic US TV sketch show, is one of the finest examples. Tina Fey plays achingly liberal writer Liz

Lemon, who clashes with her Scotch-swilling alpha male corporate boss (Alec Baldwin, above centre, with Fey). Their great double act is like a classic screwball comedy, and just part of the show’s appeal – the cameos later on are extraordinary, and include Susan Sarandon, Jim Carrey, Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks… From Friday, via Freevee
