Series one of this cheery kids’ ice hockey comedy proved itself a worthy addition to The Mighty Ducks films that came before it. Shot through with heart, humour and all the sports-movie clichés you could ever dream of, its tale of plucky underdogs overcoming tough opposition was great fun. Series two sees the ragtag teen team facing a new challenge when they and their inexperienced coach (played by Gilmore Girls’ Lauren Graham) head off to an elite summer hockey training camp for the ‘best of the best’.
