The Australian author Liane Moriarty’s story of secretive strangers at a wellness retreat (first shown on Prime Video) is brought to life by an incredible cast, dominated by Nicole Kidman (right) as the eerie mistress of their treatments – clearly a woman with troubles of her own. Comedy veteran Melissa Mccarthy brings some humour as one of her guests, but mostly the fun of this series is in watching rich people suffering – just like in Big Little Lies, also by Moriarty.
