8PM, BBC1 ★★★★★ Bookbinder Chris Shaw faces a task of epic proportions when a huge Bible that was purchased by Silvano Griffithfrancis’s mother when she was new to Christianity in the 1960s is brought in for repair. A unicycle that comes from a family of variety performers, a wooden table that’s flooded with memories of a late grandfather and a romantic keepsake that’s seen better days are also on the to-do list this week.

A chance to win immunity from elimination comes in the form of the skills challenge, where they must reproduce a bunch of realistic roses from delicate pieces of wood planed from a block of ash. But which woodworker will prove they’re blooming marvellous – and which will be leaving the competition?
