shift, a helicopter is used to deliver urgent care after a motorway crash causes a car to fall from a bridge on to the A1. And the pressure on the service doesn’t ease off – control is forced to declare a major incident in Sunderland after a gas explosion. We also meet two pensioners who are struggling to care for their respective spouses, while crewmates Andrew and Danielle help an 81-year-old former furniture designer who once met the Queen.
