DEFIANCE

(2008) 15 10PM, BBC2

Drama based on the story of the Bielski partisans, who protected Jews from Nazi occupiers in the dense forests of Belarus. Liev Schreiber, Jamie Bell and Daniel Craig are hugely watchable (even with distracting accents) as three brothers in a gripping if rather dense and heavy-going production.

CRAZY RICH ASIANS (2018) 12
