French romantic period drama – a visual, sensual treat – from Celine Sciamma, with Noemie Merlant (right) as an artist whose passions are ignited when she is hired to paint a portrait for a woman who, unbeknown to her, will soon be married off and sent away.

BBC drama The Gold – about the armed robbery that netted the gang some £26 million in bullion, gems and cash – Ch5 takes a factual, indepth look at the 1983 heist. Here, police officers and key witnesses, many of them speaking on film for the first time, tell the inside story of the search for gold that was never recovered – and the global hunt for robbers who were never caught.
