Real Murder Mystery

In the 1960s, the murders of 13 women in the US were attributed to a terrifying figure known as the Boston Strangler. Two female reporters drove coverage of the case, and Keira Knightley and Carrie Coon (The Gilded Age) bring real steel to playing them in this moody true crime thriller. The film oozes tension and atmosphere, from the Boston accents to all the scenes in smoky newsrooms and dive bars, and it’s also a bit of a whodunnit, as doubts remain regarding the killer’s identity.
