When the teenage girls from a football team end up stranded in the wilderness after a plane crash, the battle to survive consumes them. Years later, the aftereffects still linger as we follow their complicated adult lives. Skipping back and forth between the two time periods, this fantastically gripping and dark drama delivered no end of shocks in series one and the new series doesn’t disappoint, with Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci all returning, and Elijah Wood joining the adult cast as ‘citizen detective’ Walter, who will challenge Misty (Ricci, below with Wood). Series three has already been guaranteed, and it can’t crash-land soon enough. Series 1 already available; series 2 weekly from Friday, Paramount+
