Christiana Edmunds – known as the Chocolate Cream Killer – became obsessed with a doctor, and tried to kill his wife with poisoned confectionery. The wife survived, but Christiana developed a nasty taste for poisoning. She bought chocolate creams, filled them with strychnine, and posted them to people in the hope of killing them.
