8PM, BBC2 It’s the last of the heats, and host Andi Oliver (right) is on hand to welcome four chefs from central England to the kitchen as they cook for a place in the final. The sole returning contestant is Marianne Lumb, who last appeared in 2018 and won her heat, but wasn’t chosen topreparea course for the final feast. She’s joined here by Thom Bateman, Tom Shepherd and Kareem Roberts; the best two will be whittled down to just one finalist on Thursday.
