Usually a source of mockery, Dr Frankenstein’s assistant, Igor, is the focus (and narrator) of this retelling of Mary Shelley’s famous, oft-told story. Daniel Radcliffe plays Igor, sympathetically and with restraint, with James Mcavoy as the supposedly ‘visionary’ scientist he teams up with.
