Motsi and Oti Mabuse (left) are the latest celebrities to delve into their family’s past in ITV’S answer to Who Do You Think You Are?. The sisters have tried to explore their history before, but with records for black South Africans almost non-existent, they have struggled to discover their roots. This is the last roll of the dice and the two women are determined to reclaim their history and, post-apartheid, that of so many black South Africans, who through forced migration lost family ties. In this eye-opening journey we get to see a very different side to the showbiz siblings, who clearly share a very close bond, as they connect with exceptional cousins and unearth incredible family stories.
