This is one of the sharpest crime dramas of recent years, although it was relegated to a daytime slot on the BBC. Hugo Speer is on fine form as sullen, gravel-voiced DI Bradford, working on an elite murder investigation squad with DS Cole (Sharon Small, below left) in a show that takes on a Line Of Duty feel in its third series.
