For his food-flavoured take on The Apprentice, Gordon Ramsay will give the winning entrepreneur £150k of his own cash to live their food business dream. So, don’t expect him to go easy on them. At a castle in Scotland, the 12 contestants are thrown straight into the fire. Divided into two teams, they will cook up a five-star feast experience for 30 guests per team – on an outdoor grill. It’s a pretty unforgiving method of cooking, and this is not the time for refined restaurantstyle plates. Gordon has built his whole brand on his direct, no-nonsense style and his lethal putdowns, and the woeful performance of some of the contestants gives Gordon plenty of ammunition.
