3 die in loch

A BOY of nine and two adults have died after getting into difficulty while swimming in Loch Lomond.

Despite efforts to revive them, the child – along with a 41-year-old man and a 29year-old woman – were pronounced dead at the scene near the popular village of Ardlui on Saturday.

A seven-year-old boy last night remained in intesive care at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.
