The dough is still rising for Ramsay
GORDON Ramsay’s Bank Balance was a flop, with critics calling the television quiz show ‘nonsensical’ and ‘chaotic’, then the BBC cancelled it after just one series.
The potty-mouthed chef is, however, crying all the way to the bank.
Newly filed accounts for his TV company disclose that Humble Pie Productions had £5.1million in cash in its reserves, up from £2.4million in 2019. With costs taken off, the outfit is worth £5million — a jump of £3.2 million on the previous year.
Ramsay, 54, is also reportedly in talks with Fox to take the failed show to the U.S. What a boost after his restaurant empire haemorrhaged millions of pounds due to the pandemic.
