CAMERA ‘PILL’ TO SPOT BOWEL CANCER

IT SOUNDED like pure science fiction when British scientists revealed they were developing a camera ‘pill’ to take pictures of the inside of the gut. Twenty years on, it’s being used in a major NHS bowel cancer trial with 11,000 patients.
