COSMIC BLOB OF THE NIGHT:

Professor Brian Cox showed us Hubble Telescope images of GN-z11, ‘a galaxy near the dawn of time’, from 13.4 billion years ago, on Universe (BBC2). It looked like a dollop of red yoghurt. Maybe the Big Bang was just a heavenly food spillage.
