Sophie’s designer wedding dress under the hammer

FORMER lingerie model Sophie Anderton finally married the love of her life, Count Kaz Balinski-Jundzill, last summer, after postponing the wedding three times during the pandemic. But she’s already getting rid of her couture bridal gown.

The 44-year-old, who was the face of Gossard bras in the 1990s, has generously donated her dress to a charity raffle, in support of its designer Helen Cody, her close friend who has successfully battled cancer.

‘Both of us are hugely fond of Helen,’ Sophie tells me.

‘I have beautiful memories of our big day and it seems a travesty for such a beautiful design to just be collecting dust when it can be worn by a beautiful bride-to-be.’

The dress will be sold in a raffle for Arc Cancer, with tickets costing £40 each.
