DISNEY must have a lot of faith in this six-parter as they have, rather cheekily, chosen to launch it on the same day as the return of Netflix’s Stranger Things. Having started life as a film, it has a big budget and a big-screen feel, with Ewan McGregor (pictured) playing Kenobi in a story set a decade after Revenge Of The Sith — as the grieving Jedi watches over young Luke on Tatooine. Hayden Christensen also returns as Darth Vader, but he was never the most dynamic actor, and the show’s secret weapon could be Homeland’s Rupert Friend as one of Vader’s Jedi hunters.
