Focus on the big issues
WE EXPECT our politicians to be getting on with tackling the cost-ofliving crisis and the war in Ukraine, not constantly debating whether or not some irresponsible civil servants broke lockdown rules.
The money spent on the Sue Gray report, let alone the absurd expense of the Met investigation, would have been better spent on solving the big problems facing Britain.
Despite his poor judgment regarding the Downing Street parties, the Prime Minister has at least tried to focus on major issues. His involvement in the Ukraine war has been a lesson to the rest of the world.
In comparison, the Opposition has yet to make constructive proposals as to how the country should be run. Yes, politics is at a low ebb and the electorate deserves better.
