THE emotional documentary returns for a 29th series, following patients treated in the same 24-hour period at St George’s Hospital in London. Fifty-year-old Graham is rushed in after a motorbike accident, 76-year-old Joyce has breathing difficulties, and Norman has a suspected broken foot after tripping on a paving stone. As always, though, it is the personal stories, rather than the medical ones, that are of the most interest.
